The first day off the festival kicked off with better weather than the same time last year - though only just. Intermittent heavy showers caused the mud to rival that of Glastonbury - and the Pet Sounds stage caved in enough to let water through!
Biffy Clyro took to the second stage later in the day, but because of equipment problems, arrived just in time to play their set - with borrowed gear! Theirs wasn't the only problem: delayed sets and technical problems meant headliners Muse, who brought their family over for the occasion, went on over half an hour later than scheduled.
Celebs were also present in their droves, including Michael Stipe from REM, Helena Christensen, Josh Hartnett, Stephen Rae, Susan Sarandon and her husband Tim Robbins.
