A quick glance at this week's album chart bears a more than slight resemblance to the line-up for this year's Oxegen Festival.
Snow Patrol, who'll play just before Muse on the Main Stage on Saturday, are still rooted in the number 12 spot with their Eyes Open album.
Right below them in 13 is Era Vulgaris, the latest offering from the ever-changing membership of Queens of the Stone Age. And then right below that is Back To Black, the powerhouse debut from the tattooed songstress Amy Winehouse at number 14. Venturing a bit further down the list at number 17 is Avril Lavigne with The Best Damn Thing and not, thankfully, her cover of John Lennon's 'Imagine'. (The grinding sound you can hear on the track is the sound of Liverpool's favourite son slowly turning in his grave.)
